These concerns are primarily focused on compliance with Microsoft’s Zero Data Retention (ZDR) rules, which are designed to protect user privacy and data security. As a result, Claude Fable 5 is not yet available in the model picker for Microsoft employees using GitHub Copilot, despite other Anthropic models being accessible. The outcome of this legal review will determine whether Claude Fable 5 can be integrated into Microsoft’s products, balancing the need for advanced AI features with the company’s commitment to user privacy and data protection.
